Pastor Willie and Pastor Daisy are multicultural people. Pastor Willie was born in New York City and Pastor Daisy in Honduras. They both speak Spanish and English. Their children, their children’s spouses, and their many wonderful grandchildren are all multicultural. They have Hispanic, Chinese, Filipino, African American and Anglo family members. Crossroads Free Methodist Church is also multicultural. Pastor Willie and Pastor Daisy believe that people from many different backgrounds should put differences aside and worship God together as one family. Both Pastor Willie and Pastor Daisy live each day seeking to share with others the gift of new life that is found in Jesus.
They devote themselves to helping all people experience inner healing and deliverance through the power of Jesus. Their goal is that every boy, girl, man and woman would discover and live out their God-given purpose. Pastor Willie was a trial lawyer before being called by God into the full-time ministry. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Pastor Daisy was a Head Start teacher before being called by God into the ministry. She has a Masters degree in Urban Ministries from Alliance Theological Seminary. Pastor Willie and Pastor Daisy are both ordained elders with the Free Methodist Church of North America. Prior to coming to Crossroads, Pastor Willie and Pastor Daisy were the directors of the Hospital and AIDS Ministries at Times Square Church in New York City.
Pastor Ricardo and Pastor Elisa are Peruvian natives who have been happily married for 26 years. They have three wonderful children. It is a blessing for them to be able to serve a multicultural community in Clifton and the surrounding metro areas. They are passionate about raising a generation of people who are not ashamed to live for Christ and share His message of redemption, healing and transformation to others.
Currently they are serving as Assistant Pastors at Crossroads Church. Since they have experience working in Youth Ministry for over 20 years, they direct and oversee the Teen and Young Adult Ministry. Working alongside them is a wonderful and dedicated group of volunteer youth leaders who are also passionate about reaching a generation of youth who will live for Jesus. The goals of both ministries, The CITY and Reset, are to engage culture in a way that makes God relevant to the youth, so they can introduce them to Jesus, help them grow in a deeper relationship with Him, and empower the youth to do the same with others. Pastor Ricardo and Pastor Elisa want every young person to understand their identity in Christ and understand that there is meaning and divine purpose for their lives. They want to provide opportunities for the youth to encounter Jesus and experience God’s healing, restoration, and transformation. As they walk with Him, the youth will use their God given gifts and talents and learn to serve in the church and community.
